Hi there, I’m Wendy. I’m currently pursuing my masters at NYU in Food Studies. The goal is and has always been to solve complex problems using an interdisciplinary approach rooted in empathy, community building, and creativity. I have a diverse background in risk and technology consulting, cybersecurity product management in Big Tech, eCommerce website building, growth strategy, and foraging. 

Wherever I’m working, I love creating effective solutions and telling stories to grow businesses and brands, from building product features, growth strategy, to social media marketing posts. I’ve done this within corporations, for my own foraging brand and sapphic events company, and a small catering business. I have spoken at conferences in front of hundreds of people and in intimate C-suite conversations about my work. Problem solving, storytelling, and adaptability are themes throughout my career, but I am able to wear multiple hats, really whatever is needed to create growth and results.

When I am connecting with people across multiple teams and organizations to create a new, robust solution that solves a problem better, that’s when I’m at my best. I successfully created cybersecurity products that protected millions of users and apps while at Microsoft, and ideated and implemented new operating models at large banks while at PwC using this approach. In an increasingly digital world, food is one of the greatest connectors and I am now looking to harness my experience and skills to create more community and connection in the world through food. Connection is what makes my world go round!
